Schedule:

1:00pm to 7pm Mondays through Friday
9am to 4pm two weekends per month
Occasional travel, domestic
Occasional date nights
30 + hours per week

We are a fun, warm family of 4 seeking a proactive, engaging and energetic nanny/manny-to join our team. This is a job that requires ability to work alongside me (mom) and take a "divide and conquer approach" with two high energy boys ages 4 and 6. I am also seeking a nanny who is available to work approximately two weekends per month to assist on family adventures while my husband is working as an ER doctor.

Our ideal nanny loves children and is interested in engaging their curious minds and imaginations. Our boys love to play, read and explore. Someone who loves learning, particularly about science and the outdoors and has a background in sports is ideal.

Our 6-year-old enjoys sports of all kinds, superhero and Star Wars Legos and science fiction. Our 4-year-old also enjoys sports and has a strong interest in arts and crafts. Both boys are smart and athletic and can be a bit mischievous.

The schedule begins with after-school pick up (either from elementary or pre-school), shuttling a child to his extracurricular activity like martial arts or baseball practice or bringing him home to assist with homework, or play in the backyard.
I love to cook, but help prepping school lunches and a simple dinner for our family will be appreciated. We have regular bi-weekly housekeeping but will need help with light housekeeping (kitchen, toy organization and some laundry.) The job requires help two weekends per month when my husband is working at the hospital. This involves accompanying me and the children to a fun destination such as a museum, beach or playground. The boys have tremendous energy and a nanny familiar with sports who can take over and throw a ball around a field would be ideal. We are a family whose schedules and needs will vary day to day, so flexibility and adaptability are key components to this job.

We have a home in a quiet neighborhood in San Anselmo with a large backyard, crafts area and trampoline. Nanny must be a confident swimmer as there is a gated swimming pool on our property. We have an extra family car available for shuttling the children. Being a cautious driver is essential.

Not required but interest in accompanying us to our family home in Lake Tahoe and out of state travel for vacations is a plus. Other optional opportunities to obtain hours beyond 30 per week include date nights and running various errands when needed.

We have regular contact with my parents and are concerned about break through infections related to the Delta variant. A willingness to engage in safe practices that minimize exposure to Covid is essential and being up to date with your vaccinations including COVID-19


To be considered for this position you must:

- Have a minimum of one year of professional, verifiable childcare experience (could be work as a camp counselor, teacher or babysitter after the age of 18)

- Have three strong references

- Be willing to undergo background checks

- Have a strong driving record

- Be extremely Covid cautious

- Be willing to become up to date on CPR and First Aid

- Be up to date with vaccinations

- Be open to and able to take a payroll position (W-2)

- Ability to commute to San Anselmo

- Job Type: Part-time (30 hours plus per week)
